Father's Day and Lots of Loving

At the end of a day like today, when the 3 little ones are full of love and tired out from

a day playing with all of their cousins, I am so thankful for all that I have.

The kids are always thrilled to have pool days.

Nothing makes my heart happier than

seeing their happy little faces light up with smiles and enjoying

the time they spend with my family. Seeing their cousins and grandparents

and aunts & uncles loving them up how they should be.

 (I swear he's usually not that bony! We feed him, I promise. I think it's just the way

he's holding himself but man, that's one skinny little boy!)

Things I loved about today:

Newly painted piggies for the little girl and the big girl

Milky, breathy grins before being lulled into a nap by the sound of cousins

laughing and canon balling themselves into the pool...

 

Butterfly kisses from the Grandpa

A connection (even if it was in passing) between sisters

The long-standing tradition of cold little bodies laying on the hot cement after a dip in the pool.

Finding out what it feels like to fly for the first time

Almost-walking babies!

Happy Father's day to the 2 men in my life...

to my Dad for helping to make me who I am today

and to Eric for being such a wonderful daddy to our babies. 

This little is almost going to be considered a toddler...

her birthday is in a little over a week and can I just say

that I have a ton of mixed feelings about it?
I want her to stay LITTLE for just a little bit longer!
I'm really loving her right now. She's a lot of fun.
