At the beginning of each season, we sit down
over dinner and some wine and make a list of the
the things we absolutely have to do before it's over.
Every year we have the same classic ones
that we love and have done since long before
I even had kids... like visiting Roger's Garden,
seeing Disneyland all decked out in autumn, fall dinners...
It's fun to cross off the traditions and carry them on.
It's my hope that the little ones will fall in love with
them too and get all nostalgic about them when they're
older and want to carry them on with their own babies.
Trying the new stuff is necessary too, to keep it fresh and not boring.
One of our new things this year was to visit
Underwood Family Farms.
It was a bit of a drive from LA but the kids rocked it out.
It was pretty much the same as any other farm or festival we'd been to...
had a country fair feel to it. They got to enjoy pumpkin pie and corn on the
cob while listening to a country music band. My kids love live music so they loved this.
