What is it about waking up on a Saturday morning that makes me feel like a kid again?
Sleeping in just a little bit and then waking up to the possibility of ANYTHING.
A whole day with nowhere to be, nothing to do, a whole day of doing whatever you want to.
No hustle and bustle, no rush to get up and get ready to be at school, or work...
Deciding how you want to spend your day... its so fun.
This particular Saturday was lots of fun for the littles.
After getting lost in Griffith Park (TWICE!) we finally made our way up to the Griffith Observatory.
The Hollywood Sign
Charlie met his twin. (Mr. Einstein) ha ha...

Miss Ella keepin' up with the smart guys... contemplating Jupiter.

A rare shot...all looking, all smiling.

Holding the camera can be a lucky thing, you know. When the baby crawls into
an important exhibit and needs to be fetched before she
single-handedly takes down the $100,000 telescope,
you can send JB in to crawl in after her to save the day!

My beautiful (but very naughty) boy.
I would swear we are going through out terrible twos all over again with him!
I never realized how similar LA and NY were...
Isn't it a beauty, our city?
The girls
An attempt at a family pic...best we could get.
Here's a pretty cool progression of the sun setting. It was magical to see...

The cherry on our Saturday was a bite to eat at Ruby's Diner before heading home...
Charlie loves the stars and Kate really loves the moon.
She calls it her luna.
Every night, my girl scours the sky for her luna and she sings
"Au clair de la lune, mon ami Pierrot..."
It's so sweet to hear.
