Can you feel it?
The crispness in the evenings is starting already...
Our mild summer is quickly heading into Autumn and I for one, am not complaining.
The smell of apple-scented anything in the stores...
Joann's is completely decked out in Fall already!

My favorite season of all time is nearing and
it feels oh so good.

It's times like these that I wish I lived somewhere colored richly with the hues of Autumn.
Where the leaves crackle under your feet when you walk down the street,
wrapped warmly in a scarf and coat.

Feelings of warmth and family and comfort are already slowly trickling
in and we're still about 6 weeks out to the actual 1st day of Fall.
Not to mention the return of these lovely things:
Things on my wishlist for this Fall:

- Make a homemade french apple pie
- Make our annual family trip to the Pa's Pumpkin Patch

{Oh man, the walk down memory lane is always a bittersweet one, isn't it?
Just makes me realize that we've done a really good job so far, at
helping the babies get as much as they can out of this crazy, wonderful life.)
For right now, I am itching so badly to
put this baby on my front door...
would I look like a nut if I did that in the dead of August?

New beginnings are closing in on me and my little family. It makes me nervous.
My boy is starting Kindergarten in a few short weeks.
I had a hard time just TYPING out those words.
YIKES.
I've had all summer to prepare and still, I am not ready.
As with a lot of things in life, ready or not, here it comes.
Letting go is hard...
SIGH.

And finally, on a more serious note:
Ella has a surgery scheduled for August 25th to remove the little
bump on the side of her head. The very thought of it makes me sick to my
stomach, thinking about her being put to sleep and cut open.
My perfect little baby shouldn't have to have surgery performed on her!
But in my heart I know that the bump would do no good to her and
could indeed be detrimental to her and so it must come out...
Please, please, please pray hard for our littlest girl...
that everything goes smoothly.
Thank you very much.
