I think this may be one of my favorite things about San Francisco.
Waking up on that Saturday morning and walking the few blocks from the Omni to the
Ferry Building where Market Street meets the Embarcadero.
For that reason, lumping this portion of our day with
the rest of it wouldn't do it justice and so it get it's very own post.
The Farmers Market there is nothing short of amazing, eclectic and
just everything you'd expect out of San Francisco and more.
Whether it be summertime or in the dead of December, the magic is still there.
The interesting mix of people there, local and tourists, vendors and foodies makes it even more fun.
I feel more interesting myself just by being in the company of these people.
I love farmers markets to begin with.
I like the idea of supporting local farmers and getting fresher, organic produce.
I only wish I loved the one at home as much as I love the Ferry Building one.

They have the perfect mix of the most amazing, organic, fresh fruit
(with free samples every 3 feet)
savory and delicious sandwiches and breads.

Decadent desserts, I need to say that the macarons at
Miette deserve a post all on their own but I'll spare you that.

The kids enjoyed eating little bites of all kinds of different things.
Charlie's favorite was the sushi (of course)
and Kate's favorite was the grapes.
Ella loved everything.

and the view of the Bay Bridge is the cherry on top of this perfect sundae.
Just out front, across the street there is a courtyard and a big
interesting fountain that Charlie and Kate LOVED.
They were such good little travelers most of the time!

After a few turns around the fountain it was time to go catch our ferry to Sauselito.
Charlie was VERY excited for this.
He rushed us the whole way to ensure that we didn't miss our boat.
To be continued...

I want to go Miette so bad!!!! lol
