Since we all have annual passes to Disneyland, Chloe and I thought it would be nice
to get together with our 5 year old boys and let them have a day of
fun without all their younger siblings there to dictate where they should go next.
We hit up all the rides they never get to do because the brother and sisters are too little.
Space Mountain, Matterhorn, Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Autopia...
I kept kidding with Charlie about his crazy driving on the Autopia ride.
He didn't say a word about it until we were in the little go cart and he told me
to stop saying that 'cause he thought he was a pretty good driver.
Yep, he's tall enough!
Soaking wet after Splash Mountain
We went to look at our picture that was taken during the ride as we were starting
to go down the steep slide...
So, Charlie looks at himself on the picture and shakes his head and smiles.
He tells us, "Now that's embarrass."
So funny, the things that come out of the mouths of these boys.
I whited out my face in the photo because what you didn't see, my sweet little Charlie,
is that it wasn't your face that was "embarrass", it was mine...
I hope these kids know how good they have it.
Back in our day, play dates consisted of going to a cousins house on a
Saturday or Sunday afternoon and playing with whatever was in the backyard.

I had to add this in there for good measure.
The girls went to Disneyland too that day, but did their own thing with Jackie.
This is Ella's fireworks face every time she sees a pretty design in the sky...
Oh, and by the way, Miss Kate just asked me if it's ok to
to get together with our 5 year old boys and let them have a day of
fun without all their younger siblings there to dictate where they should go next.

ReplyDeleteYou could've whited out my face too... I look like a crazy person...lol. We had such a GREAT time with you and Charlie... Hopefully we can do it again really soon. On the way home Ditlafleche said, "I had so much fun with mon ami Charlie." Warms my heart (and I felt the same about spending time with you). Chloe xoxo
