1. Fig. to decorate and furnish one's home in style and comfort. (Alludes to birds lining their nests with feathers to make them warm and comfortable.)
Doesn't it seem like just yesterday I was writing a post about busting out the Fall decor?
The winter snowflakes are now making their appearance and it's oh so beautiful and glittery here.
I needed a little boost to help put me in better spirits...
for me, cleaning up my surroundings and feathering my nest a little bit always manages
to create a little flicker of hope and make me feel 10 times better.
So, I changed things up a bit. J had my hubby build the mantel that will be featured in
the holiday shoot that Kate was in and after the shoot she no longer needed it.
It found itself a nice, new little home in my home. I'm loving it...

What I'm loving right now:
1. My lovely snowflakes
2. My new clock from my trip to HomeGoods
3. My vintage camera that starts my collection
4. Wreaths
Sweet Ella's reaction to the new decorations
My patient Eric, who will turn any drawing or vision I have into a well-built reality.
I really am a very lucky girl.
Here he is hanging my snowflakes...
Here it is all lit up at night...so pretty!

Charlie loved cutting out snowflakes...
Our handiwork.
I've learned to embrace her crazy sense of style. She loves to put her outfits together.
Ella's loving, loving, loving! this time of the year. The lights delight her. The music has her
dancing and bouncing away... her expressions are priceless as she notices
things around her for the first time and it's just a joy to witness.
The parade at Disneyland had the girls captivated and smiling the whole time...
and this one of course, got a smile out of Kate...
God, I love Disneyland.
Well, the nest is feathered and babies are sleeping. My bed is calling me.
Have a great rest of the week friends!!
