Let Freedom Ring...

The sight of all the red, white and blue being worn so proudly always gives me chills.

It makes me proud to be an American.

I love this day where we celebrate our freedom and the "birthday of America" as Charlie puts it.
(and asked me if he could get a present since it's America's birthday...funny little guy.)

My Festive Cake

The Gang

I love these faces. Happy little faces.

Ella was entranced by the loud colorful noises and lights.
She loved it!

My little sparkler and her sparkler

Eric was trying not to catch on fire

I found this amazingly easy tutorial for making adorable 4th of July shirts for the kids.

4th of July Shirt Tutorial

 (Blackberry Photo...)

They rocked out their shirts and I over heard Charlie telling someone that his mommy made his shirt
for him. He said, "Isn't she good?"

And that, my friends, is why I do it.

I hope everyone had a safe and fun holiday...
Happy birthday, America!!!

  1. Awww, so cute. Love all the shirts. And what a cute little crew you have. Your little girl reminds me of my little girl in many ways. Maybe it's the color and bit of curl to her hair! Love it.
