"There is no more — a higher calling — than raising children who are kind, who live with grace and who are going to be generous human beings in the world. There isn’t anything greater than that."

My Favorite Times of the Day

Late Nights

Late night giggle fests where she can barely stand because she is laughing so hard...

When they play together it makes me so happy.

{Sometimes, it's just a little bit rough. }

Mornings
And then, there are the glorious mornings. I swear to you, if you saw how Ella literally RUNS to Kate
in the morning and smothers her in face rubs and hugs, it would fill your heart for at least a week.

It's blurry but I LOVE IT.

It feels like I barely ever get to share my sweet Charlie because he's always gone to school or
working outside with Eric... and even when I do catch him, he refuses to let me take his photo.

He's is such a smart little guy. When he isn't drawing or writing or asking me spell
anything and everything, his new love is addition.

Is it normal for kindergartners to know how to add double digits?! I don't remember learning that in K.
I am SO SO SO proud of him. He has a genuine love for learning that I really hope doesn't ever go away.

  1. So proud of my little Charlie... he is going to be my little doctor or computer scientist! I adore the pictures of Kate and Ella... I am so happy you are documenting their everyday lives, but I hope you are filming them as well. I don't ever want to forget their little voices...
