Happy birthday, Jackie!!!

For J's birthday, Charlie wanted to go to the park. So, I thought it only fitting to make a picnic and have the kids surprise her with balloons and a nice little picnic lunch. We made her favorite Caesar, sun dried tomato, pancetta & arugula chicken sandwich and sparkling lemonade. Charlie insisted on balloons and a princess party hat which Kate wouldn't let Jackie wear. Charlie also helped me pick out shoes to give to Jackie for her birthday, but only because he wanted her to get him shoes for his birthday too. That boy loves getting new shoes. She was working at the flower shop that day for a wedding the next day so we didn't have much time to play but it was cool and relaxing on a really hot summer day. I even made the girl's special birthday outfits the occasion. We want to wish a wonderful year filled with laughter, travels, lots of little hugs & kisses and love! <3
