Snow Days

The beauty of living in Southern California is that we get the best of both worlds. 

We have beautiful beaches with their accompanying sunny glory, and then not even 2 hours 

away, there are hills of snow and sleds with the need for snow pants and parkas.

my good old Docs made an appearance again...

Getting away to Big Bear is good for both staying
in and unwinding and getting out there and playing.

Sledding mishap...

The balance to all the outdoor activity was board games and movies.

 

Tubing

The tiny, brave one.
She is fearless. I don't ever want to forget this weekend.
She did the highest slopes. Again and again.
I went down once and was terrified!
She threw herself without a second thought on those sleds and tubes.
She embraces life. It's a little scary and a lot amazing.

It was a great weekend.
