Scavenger Hunt

 Sunday afternoon, we wanted to do something adventurous and active.

I got an idea to get out in the wilderness with the kids.
They were restless. I did a bit of research online and printed out a
Nature Walk Scavenger Hunt paper for each of them...
and then off we headed to the El Dorado Nature Walk in Long Beach.

They really adored this activity.

Using each others' backs as a steady place to cross newly found items off their lists,
calling out to one another as they looked for their next thing, it was a fun challenge for them.

The day was gorgeous.

They found a little tiny, baby turtle... Ella fell in love immediately.
