I picked this quote for our Valentine this year because it is

completely relevant to where we are in our lives.

You can go through life and do all the things you want to do,

you can get rich and famous, have the very best education,

but all of it is worthless if you don't have love.

You can be the poorest person in a room but still be richer than

anyone else there if you've got love in your life & in your heart.

I truly believe that.

One of my favorite songs when I was pregnant with Charlie

was "Danny's Song" by Anne Murray...

It just made me feel safe and that with love, everything would be ok.

Taking their valentine photos wasn't an easy task.

I prepared all day for the shoot. Props, outfits, EXTRA outfits, balloons,

lollipops to bribe, and perfect sunlight...

What I didn't prepare for was the tantrums and the tiredness of all 3 of them.

They each took a turn crying, throwing themselves on the ground and trying to run away.

Somehow, through some small miracle, I was able to get some decent shots.

LOVE his shirt. He loves the Beatles. All you need is LOVE...

Oh, the meltdowns. I'm sure EVERYONE around me thought I was

a crazy person yelling at the kids. I was wearing thin on patience at this point.

Literally 2 minutes after being strapped into their car seats...?

This was what happened.

At least I got to enjoy a peaceful, quiet ride home...
