"There is no more — a higher calling — than raising children who are kind, who live with grace and who are going to be generous human beings in the world. There isn’t anything greater than that."

Halloween 2009

It's hard to believe October is already over. It went by fast, didn't it? We didn't even get to go visit Riley's Farm this year or go spend a day in Julian, CA like we usually do. The thing I'm most sad about is that our family could never get it's stuff together and set a date to go to the pumpkin patch like it has for the past 9 years. For the first year ever since baby Richie was 1 year old, we missed it. I am really disappointed about that. There is just so much to take in and so many options of things to do and everyone has such busy schedules. We really all should make an effort to get together more often. We would all benefit from it. On a brighter note to all moms I'm sure, we changed our clocks last night and got one GLORIOUS extra hour of sleep.
List of to-do's for the end of October:

Mickey's Trick or Treat - check
Halloween trick or treating - check
Jack & Russell's Halloween Party - check
Our Halloween festivities are over and we can slow down a bit and enjoy this beautiful Fall weather. It's a bit hotter than I wish it would be but it'll cool down soon enough.
